Community Helpers

Parents as Teachers had a special Community Helpers night. Cole got to meet some neat people and do some fun activities. The dentist...they learned the importance of brushing and flossing.

Fresh Paint for Valentines Day!

For Valentines day this year Matt & I decided to spend quality time together and paint! Yep I said paint!!! We first bought paint that I absolutely loved and could not be without until I remembered that the color I loved was the same color I loved and had to have for my bathroom. We thought about keeping it but after a little test I decided that it was not really what I was wanting. Matt then made a second trip to Lowes for a different color. It is called Brick Dust. I think it looks great. Here are the before and after pictures I love it!

Winter Carnival

Cole had a winter Carnival for preschool it was fun. I took the day off and spent the morning with him playing games, doing a craft and enjoying a snack.

Super Bowl

Super Bowl Sunday was very laid back, we hung out with our
fiends and celebrated Sam's 2nd birthday.

Sledding & Snow Fun

The last day of January we took the kids to my mom & dad's house to do a little sledding and play in the snow. It was a perfect day to be out in the snow it was actually warm.

Rock Star is Born

Matt has decided picked up the guitar again after taking a couple year break.

Cole is very interested in being like dad so he wanted to give the guitar a try.
Who knows maybe he will be a "Rock Star" one day.
