Visit

This past week Scott, Kathy & Luke came to visit from Chicago and we got to spend lots of time with them. Luke is getting so big hard to believe he will be one very soon. Luke is quite the charmer he has the cutest smile. So good to spend some time with them.

Just Chillin

These pictures are just too cute I had to share them. Last weekend Sam came over to visit (with his mom & dad) and hang by the pool. He got all decked out and then it rained before we had a chance to get in the pool, but he was ready and looked so darn cute.

Last weekend Cole learned that he could swim with out anyone holding on to him when he has his water wings on. Cole is enjoying swimming in the big pool with mommy and daddy.

BABY UPDATE

We went to the Dr. on Wednesday Baby Douglas is doing great she is growing and so am I. We finally got to talk to the Dr. about when he thinks we can expect baby Douglas for now we do not have the exact day and time but we do know that the Dr. is planning to schedule the C-section the week of September 10th so we know she will be here that week if she does not decide to come before. I start my two week visits so time should fly. We will keep everyone posted and let everyone know when we have an exact date and time.

Cole's Day with Grandma

Last night Cole spent the night at Grandma & Grandpa Huster... He got to camp out in the living room in his turtle tent watch his new favorite movie "Sandlot" with grandpa and stayed up until 12am not so sure that grandpa stayed awake that long but I am sure they had a great time. Cole spent the whole day with grandma and I think he had fun. Grandma took Cole to Johnny Mac's to find some "Real" Base Ball Pants and ended up with something extra see for your self...

Cole is still playing with his mask and wearing his new pants... Grandma now we will need 7 pairs of baseball pants and in stead of a diaper bag for the baby we need and equipment bag!

Fathers Day 2007

Poker Night

Last Tuesday Matt and the guys had poker night Cole and I spent the evening hanging out with Stacy and Sam. Cole wanted his picture taken with his buddy Sam!

The REAL birthday

Mommy and Cole spent his birthday together. They went out to lunch and played at the playground. They also went to let Cole pick out his birthday present. And would you know that he picked out a baseball glove, bat and ball. Oh well!!!! We think Cole had a wonderful birthday (2 weeks).

Birthday Part II

We celebrated Cole's second birthday party this past weekend. He had a good time even though his cousin Jennah was at home sick with Strep throat, he really missed her. It rained pretty good but Jacob and Jessica seemed to enjoy the swimming pool!

Cole's Birthday Party Part 1

This weekend we had the first of two birthday parties for Cole Christopher (yea I know how spoiled is a kid who gets two birthday parties?) So many people love Cole that Mommy and Daddy's house cannot possibly hold them all at once!

Douglas Updates

I know it has been way to long since we updated the site life is pretty hectic these days we are pretty busy. So here is what has been going on with the Douglas'.

Cole talks so good and amazes us every day with the things he says. He loves baseball and spends all his free time with a bat in his hand and begging us to play ball with him. Cole is finally Potty trained and we are so excited to be diaper free for a short period of time anyway at least until the new baby gets here.

Baby Update

May 2nd we went to the doctor and found out we are going to have a baby girl!!! The expected due date is Sept. 16th 2007. Baby girl Douglas is very active and looks to be doing great! Cole is very excited to have a Baby sister to look out for and for some odd reason wants to call her Emily......Mom and Dad aren't so sure about that name but we will take it into consideration.

Cole Update

Cole finnally got to go to his first Cardinal baseball game (thanks to some really good FREE tickets). Although we had a little issue with drinking too much juice and eating too much hot dog, and the fact that the Cards lost by a rather large margin.He had a great time and was just so excited to see the field for the first time. Although we think he really would have rather been out there playing on the field instead of just watching. Maybe someday!!!

Vacation

In April we went on a weekend trip to the YMCA Trout lodge and had a pretty nice time. Cole enjoyed playing outside and spending time with his cousins Jacob, Jessica & Jennah.

Our estimated Due Date is September 22, 2007.

I go for another ultra sound in about 3 1/2 weeks so as soon as I have pictures and more information I will post it.
