4th of July

We had a great 4th of July. First we went to Aunt Sherri's to hang with the family and enjoy BBQ and other goodies. Cole even got to go swimming with Ashleigh. After dinner we headed to the St. Charles Riverfront for Fireworks with friends. Mya did awesome she crawled from person to person and just enjoyed being outside. When the fireworks started Mya did not mind the loud booms she was amazed reaching out thinking she could catch them. Cole and his daddy walked around and rode on some of the rides and came back with some yummy kettle corn. Cole liked the fireworks also. What a great day.

Last week we went to Great Grandma's for dinner were we discovered Mya could do the stairs. I went up stairs to get something and she came up the stairs after me.
She is not scared of anything.

Our pool still is not ready so we went to the local pool to catch some sun!! Pictures from afternoon. Cole has a blast when we go to the pool. He is getting pretty good at swimming he can put his head in the water and swim. I am quit impressed with his skill in the water. Mya of course loves the water.

Papa Bird Cole

Last week the neighbor found a birds nest and gave it to Cole. He was so excited, he sat by his nest for quite a while waiting for a Mama bird to lay and egg. He just could not understand why no birds put any eggs in his nest. It was so cute.

Mya is going to be our climber. She climbed into this basket the other day while playing. She is getting braver by the day and learning more and more what she can do.

Finally!

My new furniture is finally here!!! I love it!! Last Monday morning it arrived. What ya think? It looks so much better than the old bachelor pad stuff!! Cole is my furniture watcher he makes sure no one eats or drinks on it. He is sure to let me know when someone is drinking on the new furniture. If you come to check out the furniture make sure you don't go near it with a drink or Cole will tell on you!!

Push Toy

Mya is going to be walking before we know it. Last week I got this push toy out for her and she pulls up to it and pushes it all around. It won't be long now before she gets brave and takes off she cruises around the furniture. She has been caught standing without holding on a couple of times but of course I have yet to catch it with the camera.

Little Pool Time

We still do not have our pool up and running so we have had to make do. Cole & I stat up a little pool for him to play in and cool off. He had fun we even got Mya in a couple days later and she likes the water. I cannot wait for our pool to be ready. We now have concrete stairs that Matt, My dad and brother Jeff helped pour last weekend. The guys did a great job. We are getting the measurements on Thursday so hopefully it will only be another week or two and the pool will be up an running FINALLY!!!

A Boy and his FROG!

Aunt Stacy you might not like this post. The title pretty much says it all.

A week or two ago Matt was working on our pool and while draining it he came across a frog. Cole chased the poor frog until he could not keep up any more.

Cole's Last day of School

Cole's last day of school I took the day off and we went to the park. This was Mya's first trip to the park she loved the swings. We even took a long walk. It was a great day.
