Play Date

Friday Cole & Mya had a play date with Zoe and Max from the babysitters. Cole and Zoe played a little baseball and chased each other around. We also went to McDonals and had dinner. It was supposed to be lunch but by the time we got out of the house it was dinner time!! Max and Mya Slept for most of their play date. I am sure soon enough the two of them will be best buddies running around playing. We had fun we have to get together again very soon.

Mya 6 weeks

So hard to believe Mya is 6 weeks. Time is going so fast. She is changing everyday. she is starting to smile and she looks for us when she hears us talking. I haven't caught a smile on camera but we are working on it. She is a great baby we love her to pieces. She takes about 3-4 oz bottles and is almost sleeping through the night.

Grandpa Haydon's Birthday

Sunday we went to lunch with the family to celebrate Grandpa Haydon's Birthday and then went back to Grandma's house to have birthday cake and play. Cole had a blast he loves running with Jennah wrestling with Jacob. We tried to get a picture of the cousins but some were not cooperating so this is the best picture I got. We should have taken pictures before they played and were to tired!!

Visit to the Zoo

Saturday October 6th we took Cole to the Zoo Mya went too. Not sure she was awake for any of it. Cole had fun he told me his favorite part was seeing the Giraffe, Lions, Puma and Elephants...I think he liked it all. It was pretty hot, but most of the animals were out and active. Apple Picking

This weekend we took a trip to pick apples at Eckerts. Cole had fun even though there were not many apples to pick. I think his favorite part was playing and seeing the animals after we picked apples. Mya just slept! Enjoy the pictures from our day.

Mya 4 weeks

Mya went to the Doctor today for her 4 week checkup and she is doing great. Here are her stats... She now weighs 10lbs 1 oz 21 1/2 inches long. She is in the 90th% for her weight and the 75th% for her height. Maybe she is going to be tall?!?!

Mya's First few Days

Mya had a rough few days she swallowed too much fluid during delivery and had to be given oxygen and antibiotics for three days so mom and dad did not get to hold her, although she did get a great facial and got to see what it was like to be a space woman. Mya is now doing great and home with mom, dad and big brother Cole.

Cole's First Day of School

Cole's First day of Preschool

Cole Started preschool Thursday August 16th and he loved it. Since I was in the hospital his daddy took him for his first day Cole did great, he seems to like going and is not hesitant at all to go back each week. Cole will not tell us a to much of what his day entails except that it is fun.

BABY UPDATE

We went to the Dr. this past Wednesday and everything looks good we are still hanging in there trying to keep her in for a little while longer to be certain that she is ready to be here. The Dr. officially Scheduled a day and time for baby Girl Douglas to grace us with her presence the date is set for Thursday August 30th at 7:30am. So unless she decides she to come early we can expect she will be here for sure next week.

Baby Girl Douglas room is officially complete her daddy surprised me a few weeks ago while I was out having a surprise shower with my best girlfriends, he painted the room and arranged it I was so surprised with the whole day I love the room and enjoyed spending the afternoon with the girls! The wall hangings are up sheets on the bed now all we need it our baby & maybe a name!!! We are anxiously awaiting her arrival!! Let you know when she gets here.

Baby Girl Douglas Room

Baby update

Well as many of you know Baby Girl Douglas is very impatient. Last Monday I started having contractions and the Dr. sent me to the hospital where I stayed until Thursday so they could stop the labor. On Tuesday last week the Dr. did an amnio and we found that here lungs are not mature so she has to wait just a little while longer until she is strong enough. I received 2 shots of steroids just in case baby girl just won't wait to grace us with her presence.The Dr. says if she comes before it is time the steroids will help her tremendously. Tomorrow I will be 36 weeks and I go to the Dr. Hopefully he will take me off the medicine to stop the contractions and let me do a little more activity. I have had to take it easy since I came home on Thursday and I am pretty bored, I know I am lucky I only had to take it easy for a couple of days there are many women that have to stay on bed rest for months and you all know me I would go CRAZY!! Anyway I am hoping that baby girl Douglas will soon grace us with her presence as long as she is ready. I know we all are ready and anxious to meet her. Thank everyone for there love and prayers and all the help last week Matt, Cole & I appreciate everything and could not have made it through last week with out all of you.
